Starting at noon today a new protocol will be implemented urging a shift from IP v4 to IP v6 . This should not affect the normal operation of isp's or their customers and should result in improved performance.
A vital part of this shift though will cause data loss if certain applications are running during the transfer. Due to this possibility We urge everyone to temporarily power down their systems and disconnect from their internet connections. Rest assured normal activity should resume tomorrow.
"The amount of feedback and its quality is really pleasing" said Dr Iam foo ling U, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We've listened carefully to what was said and that has produced many changes in this version of the Internet. It's also clear that further discussion on some key areas is needed and we will start work on those immediately."
